Your 03 aero seems a little pricey. New stick shift aero sedans can be readily found and have the $5k incentive (at least in dec and jan they did, imagine same in feb) making one somewhere just north of the 35k mark, unless you go mad on the options. To me, a 7K saving for a year old car with the old styling and a fairly hefty 33k on the clock isnt enough. Call a few dealers offering to trade in such a car and youll find what its really worth.
The stick shift isnt 'wonky', its pretty positive & smooth (except reverse gear), and you'll enjoy driving it more than any automatic even with shift buttons which are more a marketing gimmick than useful.
Finally, Saab Exchange has a new branch in Morton Grove, which is more convenient for Oak Park. They have the biggest inventory and are nice people to deal with. I wouldnt go to Perillo unless you like the idea of buying a car off Joe Pesci.
