and boy did I break it in... just 10 minutes after leaving the dealership I got a SPEEDING TICKET - DOH!
Funny, because my friendly salesman says..."little more power than your older 9-5, watch your speed..." Ho hum..
I know I'm probably not supposed to go 80 in my brand new car (how long is that "break in" period anyways?), but honestly, I didn't realize it had crept up. Anyway, very much enjoying my new ride, and while I annoyed the heck out of everyone on this board with my annoying negotiation questions (hence, the new name 'AnnoyingSaabGirl'), I am very appreciative of your help.
Some likes (compared to my other 2001 9-5):
Auto dimming mirror - a great new feature for me, since I drive a long time on the highway every night.
Peppier - only 40 more HP, but it still makes a difference (or it's in my head, one or the other).
That's it on the likes because, really, there is not difference to me!
Dislikes:
I miss the "umbrella" holders on the side behind driver/front passenger doors. (they made great baby bottle holders when traveling w/my little one).
The "display" = honestly I preferred the older one, and the weather band, is that gone too? I actually used that alot...
And I need to check, but I swear the sticker said it came equipped w/a 7 speaker stereo (nothing mentioned about the 9 speaker Harmon Kardon). I'm hoping it's just a typo because my understanding is that all the Arc are equipped w/the premium package.
And is it my imagination, or is there a bit of a rough idle in this new Arc?
That's about it - besides the speeding ticket, it was fun tooling around today...
Rhonda
