The first aid kit and tiangle are required in some (all?) European countries. So why include in build specs for North America? Makes sense to me when businesses are struggling to compete and make a profit.
I use the weather band all the time in my 03 Aero and did with my 95SET. With the storms we can get, I do not agree with that going away. But one radio for us and the same one for Europe, and one to bind them all, and they don't have this same weather service. So they were paying for the WB in the radio core for vehciles sold in Europe it would seem. But with today's technology, I can't see that this feature costs very much.
