Because there are times when driving into secured areas that headlights must be turned off, I too took fuse 35 out to disable automatic DRL. I wanted the flexibility. However, I keep my headlights on at all other times for safety reasons. I've noticed other drivers tend to not cut in on my nearly as much with lights on then when they're off. My high beams are not on, and my "Barry Manilow Sings The Bee Gees" CD isn't blasting out my Harmon Kardon, so the only thing I can attribute the added space to is better visability. I have xenons, so wonder if the more intense light does anything, too.

BTW, I really don't have a Barry Manilow CD. Really. I swear.
