There are no bolts securing the rotors, rather a single locking screw. Apparently Saab used at least two types of locking screws with the standard rotors and I would expect the same with Aero rotors.
My car (2000 lpt) required a Torx bit to remove the screw. I believe it was a T-30 size, but maybe only a T-25. Regardless, it was the largest bit that fits into my nut-driver style handle and was not a socket-wrench size bit. Others have posted that their cars required a metric allen wrench, 6mm or 7mm seems to ring the bell. Obviously you will want a variety of types and sizes on hand when doing this.
I would heavily soak these retaining screws with a penetrating solvent first, clean out the head recess with a piece of wire and/or stiff brush, and only use the proper tool. This screw is soft and you don't want to destroy the head! Coat with an anti-sieze conpound when reseating.
I removed my rotors at 80,000 miles & 3-years of age without a problem using the above precautions.
The rotors should just fall off after removing the retaining screw. I had one out of the four which required penetrating solvent at the hub/rotor interface, 10 minutes of soak time, and gentle persuasion from a rubber mallet.
All in all a very good D-I-Y project. The work is fairly easy to complete and accompanied with a great feeling of accomplishment when done.
