I had the battery disconnected while I was doing the PCV mod (as recommended), no change.
It's annoying, esp. when I think of the silky smooth shifts I got with a '93 E36 with 130K!, after I switched it to Amsoil syn ATF.
Worst karma I can think for a car is to not be shifting where it should, guess that's why I prefer manuals.
Except for that little quirk (MPG increase or not), the shift points seem to be right on. How do I address the problem with the dealer? I was thinking of calling Saab USA and trying to get dates and/or releases for any software upgrades they issued, then checking with the dealer to see if they're set up for it. Other than that, I'm at a loss, other than hitting some of the post recs, like cleaning throttle body or maybe a fluid change.
Any ideas much appreciated.
