oh my, I think I'm in love

I've been batting around the idea of replacing my Sport Trac with something that gets better mileage (which could be just about anything to be honest). But with the fireplace needing wood and all the other home projects trucks are useful for I kind of hate to part with the convenience. Stopped by my local Saab dealer and saw a gorgeous '04 9-5 ARC, laser red, tan interior, optioned *exactly* the way I'd want. I'd prefer the Aero performance, but I'm not totally taken by the mild ground effects package, and the lowered stance would likely scrape the chin getting up my driveway.
What a dilemma to be in. The Mrs really likes the Saab. I'm a former Saab owner ('97 3-dr SE Turbo, imola red) and wish I'd kept that car, but to be honest it never completely felt like it was screwed together tightly. Squeaks all over, notchy getting into 3rd, clutch cable that didn't like to self-adjust, loved to eat headlights...but what a blast to drive.
Ugh.
