Always replace headlight or other bulbs in pairs. The reason? Because the computer is looking at the draw of each pair of bulbs, then comparing the two draws to determine if one is out or failing. So, if one bulb is drawing, 5 amps, and the other is drawing 4 amps, the computer says "ok, one must be out or about to fail" and posts the warning.
The way to resolve this is to simply replace both bulbs when one goes out. Both new bulbs will draw the same amperage. This is a pain, and causes waste, but, hey, computers are supposed to make our lives easier, right?
