What a bad day. Went to p/u the car today- 20 minutes into my hour ride home, I get an alert on the dashboard- FRONT LIGHT NOT WORKING (or something to that effect) so i pull over, get out of the car and sure enough the front driver's side headlight isnt working~ Im thinking already that we have an electrical problem, I doubt its the light or bulb itself. Anyway, I call my salesman(im pretty pissed off at this point) and he says "WELL...." meaning, "Sorry buddy!" I reply, HOW DID THIS PASS INSPECTION? So he says "Alright drive it back, we will take care of it and give you a loaner" Which they did. Remember this is a franchised Saab dealership. Do you think they will actually come through for me, or am i toast? Model was manufactured in June 99, didnt get sold new at the dealership until Nov. 99. Is a one owner. Did a carfax yesterday. I only have the 30 day warranty (powertrain) through the dealer, and I can buy a 2400$ warranty though my finance company through a Warranty Co called "Platinum" that covers pretty much everything from suspension to the air conditioning, but not electrical unfortunately, other than the starter and alternator. The dealer offered me a 2 year powertrain warranty that cost the same! Anyway, sorry to ramble, what a day.
