value, so the way to get the deal you want is to get it cheap enough to have some reserve for repairs. Things WILL happen at that mileage, as durable items turn into wear items (nothing lasts forever). Anything that moves in contact with something else wears out eventually, and that's normal. If you get it at a price that leaves you with a comfortable nest egg for fixing it, you can relax, as you'll be gambling to win if that doesn't happen. without the price reserve, the best you can do is break even if nothing breaks, and the first dollar is a loss.
Yes, if the motor is sound now, it will go a very long time. That depends on how well it was cared for, and a mechanic should look at it.
