Geoff,
I respectfully disagree with your opinion. My 1992 9000S has almost 148K and, where is the wood when I am about to jinx myself, runs great and the only electrical issue is the 9004 high/low beam bulbs burn out ever so often. I run Mobil 1, change my oil and filter ever 5K or so and run on 87 octane. When at work I am always asked to drive as the inside is huge compare to many of today's cars, comfortable and still nimble. It is not my 2002 Aero as it has body roll and nothing like the excelleration in the Aero.
Now my friends with their S6 Audi and A6 sedan love their cars but they are forever bringing them into the mechanic to fix things. That said I still lust for an S8 but I can not justify ever paying so much for a car though I came within a wisper of buying one in 2002 before I came to my senses and bought the Aero. 2 Aeros were cheaper to buy and cheaper to insure.
