The PPC download overwrites more than the fuel mapping and boost stuff. It overwrites everything that a dealer TechII ECU update would. This means that if you have the dealer install the updates for the ECU with improved diagnostics for the DI, then a PPC install will replace that. I have been informed that the PPC code has incorporated this feature. So it seems that installing the PPC code will install some Saab's T7 updates that you need anyways. So the PPC seems to be a traffic hack on what the TechII does to some extent, but I am sure the insight is much deaper than that. And if you have PPC code installed and the dealer decides that you need a T7 firmware update, they would overwrite the PPC code. But at least you could plug and play and get going again. I would expect the PPC updates would include these Saab improvements and you could stay current on your own.
