Noises! Drivin' me nuts

Hello All;
I have two noises with my 2K Aero 5spd that are driving me nuts, hope someone can help.
1. Replaced Serp/and all 3 pulleys. Yet the new belt/pulleys make that "old" belt whirring noise. If I take the load off the tensioner just a bit it quiets it right down. Is this normal, or did I get a bum pulley etc? Should I consider the short belt (Gates 48 99548 as prev posted) while re-doing this?
2. Under initial acceleration, like 1st or 2nd gear in a parking garage, I get this "fluttering/groaning" noise. It seems to be vacuum related coming from the firewall area. As soon as boost starts to build it goes away. I have done the PVC update (new one) and replaced all of those hoses. There seems to be two vacuum related switches on the firewall, one I think is for the ACC (has water lines also). I put the car on a lift while running could hear the noise faintly at idle coming from the firewall side, and these two switches are the only thing back there beyond the hoses themselves, and they are fine and do not seem to be collapsing.
Hope this is clear, and thanks in advance for the help.
Tom
