I had an oxygen and oil pressure sensor replaced on my Jeep and I took it to the dealer because the oil pressure sensor was leaking bad and had no time for a DIY. They were done in less than one hour and charged me 2.3 hours labor at $95/hour. I looked at the sheet with the service manager and caluculate the "punch clock time" the tech does as soon as he picks up the order and then as he drops it off when complete = 49 minutes! The manager said they charge "book time" not actual, but there is a sign right above the service desk that states they charge $95 per hour labor. I don't think the tech knew I was waiting for the truck and the service manager readjusted the time to one-hour. If the tech knew I was a waiting, he would have left the truck in the bay for two hours while working on another car.
