I got 42MGP on a 60mph run last night with a tailing wind storm :)
When you are in the city and stopped at a traffic light, you are getting zero MPG. City conditions are so variable that they cannot be compared. So if you get good MPGs on the highway; thats the gold standard, and that indicates that everything is working great.
I just got some great 33+ and a 34.5 expressway leg on a long trip. And 32+ against head and side winds! I think that the Wagon is very good with MPGs in side winds, at least compared to my 95SET that took a hit with side winds.
You have a autobox or a 5spd?
