I have an '02 Aero wagon and love it. I drive average mileage, and just turned to 26K, in 25 months. Do you have reason to doubt the odometer reading? We recently sold my mother in law's 1995 Toyota Camry with only 14K on it, no one questioned it. I wouldn't worry about the salt, if you wash the underbody occasionally during the winter it should be fine. I have rarely seen a rusty Saab. If you call your local dealer they should be able to give you a price for the key/programming. You might want to do a carfax, and check that the car has been properly serviced (oil changed, serviced at 10K and 20K).
Good Luck,
AeroLady
