Most of the major suspension changes were made at the 02 year, so either model would be okay and very similar. The factoris I would weigh are as follows: The lower mileage of the 02 would be good for warranty purposes despite the loss in value for being a year older. I would want to be sure that the owners changed the oil frequently and performed all of the required maintenance. Oil changes at 5K with a top rated full synthetic is a good indication that the former owner truly cared for the car, so do check those maintenance records. If you live in a hot climate, the ventelated seats could be the clincher, as those add about $950.00 to the price when new and will keep your back feeling good in the sweltering heat. I suggest you change transmission fluid, brake fluid and coolant despite the "lifetime" label as soon as you take possession.
