My 03 recommended pressure is 36/35. 43/42 is reserved for really high speed driving. Without rotation (another story) my Rosso tires hit the wear bars at about 12K, in the center first, but outside is very close now that it’s at nearly 15K. The front tires are to be replaced when the tires finally get here from Pirelli.
How often are you rotating? I found the higher pressure to handle better, but the ride gets harsh. Also, I have never topped 28.5 mpg on any reasonable length trip (more than after resetting it on the highway). I have the auto, but wish I were getting 30+mpg like everyone else. Guess I have too much local traffic in the NY Metro area.
