Adjusting the handbrake cable:
1. Apply the handbrake 1 notch.
2. Raise the car so the rear wheels can be rotated freely.
3. Tighten the adjusting nut on the handbrake lever, accessible from the hole in the centre console storage compartment, until the brake starts to engage.
4. Release the brake and apply it again. The wheels should be locked at the 1st-4th notch.
Adjusting the handbrake shoes:
1. Release the handbrake.
2. Check that the cable is not pulling the actuating levers. If necessary, slacken the cable adjusting nut.
3. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the adjuster until the brake disc is blocked.
4. Then, unscrew the adjuster until the brake disc can be turned
5. Repeat the procedure on the other wheel.
6. Fit the wheels and tighten the bolts using a torque wrench (tightening torque 110 Nm or 80 lb-fts).
