I was preparing my car for a 600+ mile round trip I need to take tomorrow. I started it up to head to the car wash when it cranked over really weird. I thought, uh oh I better turn it off and see if it starts up again and sure enough, nothing, nada, zip. Luckily, my wife also has a '99 9-5, her's is a sedan, mine a wagon. I had a spare DI cassette which is mis-firing on #3 as a spare in my car. So I took her DI out, it was replaced about 2,000 miles ago and popped it in mine. The first few starts were really hard and the ACC unit showed a "0" once. But after starting and turning it off a few times it seems to be working OK. I am still headed on my trip (I need the space for stuff in the wagon). I was very happy this happened in my driveway not on some desolate stretch of highway!
