We upgraded from a 9-3 in March and couldn't be happier. No compliants, except for the fact that the jack stinks (it folded under the weight of the car when I was fixing a flat).
The Linear is a nice car when combined with the comfort package. It is not a sports car but it is a nice classy family car with enough umph to still be fun, Sport Mode makes a differnece and I use it whenever I drive. Nice ride on the highway and plenty of room for all kind of stuff, we have twin girls and go away almost every weekend and all of our stuff fits.
The real test for me will be the winter, can anyone comment on a Linear in the snow? I have Bizzaks from the 9-3 that I plan on putting on, i am hoping the car will get us up to NH and back with no worries all winter.
Good luck on the purchase.
We went with Merlot over Sand int, comfort package and Auto. Although there are a few empty buttons on the dash I don't feel that anything is missing.
