Checked my local Costco. Like their stuff cause if I have any problems, it can go right back. They have two. One is aluminum, 47 3/4 lbs, 2 ton, 3 3/4" to 18 7/8" range made by Alltrade. Cost is $128.
Other is made by Arcan, steel I presume, 3.5 ton, 4" to 21" range. Cost $70.
Is the 2 ton adequate for a 9-5? Aluminum is a much lighter jack, despite higher cost. What is the low height needed to jack and Aero. Can the car be jacked up one side at a time? Where is the safest jack point for this? Another post called a ton in jack ratings 2200 lbs. If so, I guess the 2 ton is adequate at 4400 lbs. And you don’t lift the whole car in any case.
