I happen to think it is not your wrench, or adaptor, but the amount of torque that was used. Make sure that they use a good old torque wrench, and not the stick. The correct spec is suppoosed to be 82 lb.ft , but a little higher is not going to make much difference( say 90). Uniformity is important. I accidentally did not remind a tire shop to use my wrench a few months ago while they were balancing my tires, and when Iwent to takee them off for the winter to summer switch, the rears came off too wast, and the fronts seemed welded on, and all four had been done by the same guy with the same torque stick, within five minutes of each other. That in my mind dispells the theory of torque sticks.
