rear brakes SCREECHING....help!

I just did a board search and didn't find any solutions on this. I replaced my rotors and pads a little over a year ago (about 10K miles). I have Brembo replacement rotors all the way around, with PBR Metalmaster pads in front and Roulands pads in rear. (I couldn't put the Metalmasters in the rear b/c I have the old style caliper).
The problem only occurs after the pads have warmed up, and at slow speeds (like parking lots or rush hour). It's really annoying...and not like a pulsating squeal, I mean a solid sounding, continuous SCREECH. I used the disk quiet goo on the back of the pads when installing them and installed the new springs and shims in the rear, also. I read that others have had this problem, but was curious if anyone has found a solution. Is this something I just have to live with? I really appreciate anyone's input. Thanks.
Jim
One more thing. I had between 2 and 4K on the car after the replacement w/ NO problems before this started.
