I know I'm saying it doesn't live up to expectations. BSR told me directly they have no experience tuning above Stage 3 parameters and can't do it. I've been screwing around with my BSR/Speedparts Stage 3 upgrade for well over a year and the best dyno numbers I've seen from my 2001 Aero are 228hp/267tq taken from a Dynojet. For what it's worth, the stock numbers from the same dyno were 224hp/245tq. This is just my experience but I'd shy away from BSR and PPC. If anyone out there has had verifiable (dyno sheets) positive results please let me know. I'm in contact with BSR directly but I have to get more info via Tech 2 so they can try to further diagnose. Speedparts couldn't do anything for me. The general attitude seems to be "it can't possibly be our programming...must be your car". I'm not holding my breath for a successful resolution.
I purchased it through Taliaferro but he's pretty much out of the loop now and can't give me any help. Looking over my stack of receipts I know I already spent plenty. I've requested a credit of some sort for purchase towards Stage 3 Nordic gear but my emails go unanswered. What to do now??? Out a bunch of money, no real gains, and minimal vendor support.
Maybe get something in writing before buying anything would be a suggestion if possible. Local tuning is probably the best answer once that's available even though I have heard good things about Nordic and Maptun. Remote technical support from Sweden is very tedious.
