Slight steering wheel vibration after new tire install

I recently had Big O install new Khumo Ecsta ASXs from TireRack on my '03 Arc (30k miles). I also had Big O do a 4 wheel alignment (car had pulled very slightly left from the day it left the lot). All was great (pull gone, tires much quieter than the OEMs), except for a slight vibration at freeway speeds under certain road conditions. When driving 70-80 mph on smooth roads (i.e. recently repaved asphalt in #1 lane), the wheel has a very slight vibration at what seems like a higher frequency than out-of-balance wheels (from my past experience). The amplitude of this vibration (though very small) usually increases and decreases rythmically, at about a 4 second interval. It doesn't feel like the vibration is there unless the road is smooth. If I change lanes (e.g. to the grooved concrete #2 lane), it goes away. Acceleration, coasting, and braking have no effect. Even when it's at its peek, is very minor, with no effect on handling at all. I'll be bringing it back to Big O to have them check the balance, but wonder if I should check anything else. Any thoughts?
