If all its going to cost you is $600 I really wouldn't feel all that bad.
Took our 00' 9-5 wagon in for the 60k (a little late) and was quoted $1275 for the major service. Trimmed it to about $400 with a little dickering.
Lots of stuff you can do yourself quite easily. Tell them you want to pick from the list as to what is being done. We eliminated air cleaner, cabin filter, tires rotated and balanced and a bunch else. Get the timing belt done
(it was a freebee) and anything you don't feel comfortable doing. I don't want to feel like I'm buying the car again.
