My old TB looked clean, and the software from BSR is supposed to be fresh, so I've decided to replace the throttle body.
A new TB from a dealer is $745 CAD plus tax. Ouch! eEuroparts sells them for $250 USD, but with the last track day of the season on Friday, there wasn't enough time. A local Saab indy found me a used TB for $300 CAD. That one wasn't any cleaner than mine, but it worked!
The installation is very straightforward -- half a dozen hoses and five bolts. That's it. I'll post the pics tomorrow ;)
