Another beautiful ride

We just got back from a 5 day trip in the saab. LI to Va to DC to AC and back. The car performed beautifully. I have almost 60 thousand miles on a 99 9-5 se v6 and she runs great. We went direct to Williamsburg in about 6 hours on I95. Hate the road really. Not much fun, nothing to see, ran about 80 mph most of the time. Colonial Williamsburg was the pits, left in one day, planned about 5. Quick ride to Va Beach. Had to think of something. No crowds in October. Had to bribe the valet parker so I could leave the car in front of the hotel instead of around the corner in some unattended lot. Didn't much care for commercial beach so we shot up to DC. We had pretty sloppy weather so it was a good choice. Lots of indoor sightseeing available. Stayed in town and kept the car parked at $25 per day. ran up to AC for a night. Really can't see why people hang in these casinos. Hey, cost me $50 and I still don't have the cash for the 05 9-5 I want. At least we ran up through the farms in Jersy. Finally getting off the interstate for awhile. They charge $5 to leave the parking garage, so put EVERYTHING on the red 9. Ran north on the Garden State Pkwy which was ok. Glad I have ez pass. They have several of those stupid toll boths. I was worried about the repaving going on in sections along the way but we idn't run into slow traffic until we hit Staten Island. I hate driving through SI. It is allways slow. Can't remember a single time I haven't run into traffic. Often for no apparent reason, it's just slow.
The car really ran great.
