Where can you buy this Auto RX product? I'm not familar with this product. Does Pep Boys seel it at all their store? I'm not seeing that much oil lost after checking the dip stick every month. My local Saab mechanic recommended that i try a heavier oil to prevent the blue smoke comming out the back end of the tail pipe. And yes i've done all the improvements mechanically speaking to help prevent and stop the blue smoke out the back end of the car. The turbo has been check out by three different mechanics, no problems from that area of the car. I switch from a 10w 40 to a 15w 50 weight oil because my mechanics strong suggestion. Now that the weather is getting colder here in Southern cal., I've been seriously looking at the Amsoil products on their web site. Early this morning, I called the tech support line and spoke to Darren. He was very helpful. I also heard from others that a product called "Resitol" works wonders to in stopping blue smoke out the tail pipe. I'm curious of what the difference would be on these products, Resitol and Auto RX ?
The BIG question is how does "SAAB's Engineers" feel about these interior engine coated products to reduce where and tear on the mental parts in the engine? That's what i would like to know. I will travel over to my local SAAB dealer ship here in my town to pick their brains on this topic. I appreciate your input and advise Dick in Falls Church, Va. ( beautiful country down there in Va.)
