Automatic transmission slipping...

On our return home from visiting relatives for Thanksgiving, I noticed some slipping in the transmission of our 2003 9-5 Linear Sportwagon. It has the 5-speed Sentronic automatic transmission. The slipping was not consistent, and only happend 3 or 4 times. It occured when shifting from 3rd to 4th, and also from 4th to 5th. I first noticed when getting onto the freeway, fairly hard acceleration in sport mode. I then noticed it again under less acceleration. In both cases, I had been driving on the freeway for several hours. After a lunch stop and letting the car cool off, it seemed to return to normal. I plan to check the fluid today, and call for a service appointment on Monday. I did check the owner's manual on the road, and it calls for Saab transmission fluid only, which I did not have. Based on that, I didn't even bother to check the fluid level then. Anybody else had a similar problem? Any ideas?
