How bad was the slip? I have the same tranny in my '04 Aero, and it is designed to slip for a second or so in gears 3/4/5. This is to allow the engine revs to go up, allowing quicker boost, when shifting. I can also force the slip in 3rd just by using the sentronic to shift up from 2nd at around 20 mph. Of course, if the slip seems excessive to you it's worth a service check.
