Hi!

I imported my US 9-5 to Sweden this year as part of a larger move. I was able to get a second hand instrument cluster. It was installed and the odometer was moved forward to the setting I needed. Unfortunately, the unit broke down the same day I was due to get the car inspected to be able to legaly drive it. I had to get a new cluster and have that one installed. This time it worked properly but they could not set the odometer on this one. They claim that you can move the odometer forward only (makes sense) but only once and someone had already done this with the second one and because of this I had to live with what I got.

I was unfortunately not able to speak directly to the tech about this and I had a feeling that they just wanted to get rid of me. Is this true? It sounds plausible but I just want to make sure and it would be great if I could have the correct odometer setting on my car when I eventually sell it Right now it is at 75% of what it should be.
