Car not firing...AGAIN!

I posted a message last week about my '99 9-5 dying while in drive, but stopped (at a long light, or in traffic). It then died merely at a stop sign and wouldn't start until I let it sit for about 30 minutes. I took it to my Saab dealer on Monday--of course the problem wouldn't repeat itself for them, and they could find nothing when they ran the diagnostics. As I was about 800 miles away from my 90,000 service, they did the tune-up, and also repaired a small oil leak at the rear of the engine (Ventilation repair kit?). I then drove the car incident-free the next day. Yesterday, however, after sitting at a stop light for 1 1/2-2 minutes, as I put my foot on the gas, it "coughed" or popped, and surged forward momentarily, then drove as usual. I then parked the car for about 30 minutes while in the store, came out, and it wouldn't start. Turned over, but wouldn't fire. I made half a dozen attempts, and then while on the phone with the service dept. it finally started. While sitting in Park, with the engine running, it died after only a minute. Saab came and towed the car a couple of hours later, and when it got to the shop, it fired right up!
There MUST be a problem--any suggestions as to which way to direct the service folks? Their computers seem to be incapable of picking up a problem. (Still waiting to hear from them this morning) Thanks for any ideas anyone might have...
