One of the under body plastic shields needs to come off, but that is quick and easy with 4 hex head screws and 4 torx head screws.
Once that is off, you can reach down from above and open the draincock. Two pins on the handle snap into grooves in the draincock's body to keep it closed, but it snaps open without too much difficulty.
Some owners have drilled a hole in the underbody shield immediately below the drain cock outlet so they don't have to remove it for future drainings.
A '03 model will be using Dex-Cool, the jug will have guidelines to help you determine how much raw coolant to add.
