Special care for Aero wheels at tire shop?

I have a slow leak in my RR tire - ran over a glass bottle a few days ago (heard a loud pop anyway). I recall reading on this board about Aero wheels needing special treatment of some kind when replacing tires. What was that about?
BTW, plan to stop by the dealer in Santa Monica next week to measure the front tread depth. Using Lincoln's head, looks to me like I'm down to only 2 or 3/32nds on the fronts (Pirelli P-Zero Rosso) at 8,000 miles. If it is 3/32 or less, they said Pirelli will replace the tires.
TIA,
/Geoff
