My friend got those on his Volvo and complained about them. They look pretty good to me but he said that the car drove very mushy with them. I know the Nordfrost IIs are like that but not so much that I would complain. Maybe it's because the Volvo is already mushy.
We have the Nordfrost IIs on my wife's Aero wagon and it is fantastic. I have studded Nokian Hakka 2's on my 9-3 and it is also great, especially on the ice.
The Nokian Hakka2 is supposed to be pretty good on ice without studs too. This one tire is studdable but also has the Blizzak type compound so that you'll have some ice traction if you do not stud.
