I have had 8 SAABs in the last 20 years, and currently own 3, most did not have a warranty, some had either 30 days or 1 year which I considered a bonus. All of the cars started with 50K miles or more and lasted well into the high hundreds. My goal was to get a 100K out of one than get another one. All of these cars required some maintenance, nothing out of the ordinary.
Most of the cars purchased were off lease and were 3-5 years old, I have had OG 900, NG 900, a 9000, and a 9-5. My high school daughter now drives a 93 900S with a few dents and the hanging headliner and she couldn't be happier, it't the perfect kid car, safe (built like a tank), and slow (900s with an automatic).
I do all the maintenance and I have an excellent indy to do the stuff I don't want to do like struts and replacement of the parts you can't see from the top of the engine.
Keep the car, buy the book, and learn how to change the oil and filters.
