Through Jan 3rd the 2004 9-5 Aero lease for sedans and wagons is awesome!
It's a $6,500 lease incentive for Aero SportWagons and virtually a zero lease rate , less than 1/2% equivalent. Have 'em quote you a lease on the '04, I bet it's very attractive.
Do ask about the collision history of a 650 mile used 2003. Collision disclosure requirments are reduced for a used car, which may be the reason it's used. I'm not saying anything definite, but it comes to mind for me.
Often a car that's been around that long can't be sold for a competitive price which is why it hasn't sold. Often the correct retail value for a leftover is far less than actual cost and no salesmanager will sign for that much red ink. Better to just let it sit than show the loss, I've seen that pattern too. They person who finally buys the leftover won't ask if that price will work on a new one. Again, not always, but sometimes.
