This is a lot of car for the money, but a little too crude for my taste. The engine is noisy in the big V8 way that some like, but is a bit over the top. A quiet cruiser, very high geared and with the torque to pull it.
Handling is pretty nice, but its a knobbly ride exacerbated by really firm seats. The traction control is ineffective/too slow at quelling oversteer compared to the systems fitted to BMW, Mercedes etc, and theres no DSC. Clutch isnt too heavy, gearchange certainly is - not surprising given all that torque. The brakes were really squishy and vaugue on the one I tried, the only real bad point.
Overall I liked it, and im glad its being imported as it offers a solid performance value thats light years more sophisticated than the old firebirds and similar detriot muscle rubbish, and is inoffensively if unremarkably styled. However Id trade a little of that stonking performance for a lighter, more sophisticated feel and better safety equipment.
