Should I buy an extended warranty for my new 2001 9-5?

Hi all I just bought a 2001 9-5 Wagon with 45,000 milles on it about 2 weeks ago. Its in good shape and was bought from a wholesaler who happens to be a friend of the family. Its been in every 10,000 for service and I just had the 40,000 service done. No major problems or accidents.
We have the option to buy at cost a GE Capital 4yr/75000 warranty with a $100 deductable for ~$1,300. Keep in mind this is the dealers cost for the warranty and they are not trying to make a profit on it. He also is not pushing the warranty and says its up to us to decide if we want it.
From everything I've read this is a solid car but has electrical issues. We've already replaced one headlight bulb which I'll just chalk up to bad timing. I know all cars and experiences are different but being that people here have often owned several Saab's I'm wondering if they wish they had a warranty or have been nailed with expensive repairs. I'm used to owning Toyota's where for the most part you just change the oil. I'd rather not spend the money but Saab's reputation worries me even though I very much like the car. Any thoughts on typically goes wrong with 99-0X Saab 9-5's appreciated. Thanks.
