The head unit in this car is actually pretty good( as is the entire system in my personal opinion). Generally, speakers make the most significant difference in a system, followed by the amplifier(s), and finally the radio/CD player. Unfortunately for you, the hardest part of a car's audio system to replace are usually the speakers, due to the physical constraints of the available places you can mount speakers. Putting in more amps is usually pretty easy, but doing it if you do not need tois also a waste of money. I have found the H-K audio systm in my Aero to be one of the best factory supplied systems I have had,and certainly it is good enough to NOT want to modify. In any case, like many aftermarket modifications, putting in a few thusand dollars worth of special stereo equipment resultsin no increase in residual value, and sometimes even makes the value less than a stock system.
