since the changer gets electronically " married " to the audio system,this means that before the actual audio signal can be inputed into the system, the audio system needs to be made aware of the presence of the changer first. hOw this is done I am not sute, but it might be a signal that is fed from the changer to the audio system on an ongoing basis. Figuring out what pins on the DIN connector carry the audo and ground signals is the easy part.Saab actually looked into this and determined that this was not a possible solution. Chances that you, and anyone else in thefield, will prove them wrong, are slim,although I for one wish you luck,since I find the lack of a direct connection for XM to be a big shortcoming in this type of car.
