Maybe - just maybe - this is a blessing in disguise - Saab under GM is nothing but "me too" bullcrap with the rebadged this and the rebodied that and the lets pretend other thing. GM could have gone a long way with this marque - but they didnt - maybe the best thing that can happen is for some consortium of private individuals, the Swedish government, and Saab's former owners to buy Saab back from GM and make it what it could once have been. It still can be - they innovate incrediby - they just need to execute and deliver thier innovations to market faster than ever. Maybe this does have a silver lining
