You car may have been assembled on a Monday, but all of the individual components were not. Don't forget the short belt option... ask about it. The dealers should have only the short belt variant by now, but no harm in asking. If you get a long belt, then you have to replace and pay for the lower pully which is difficult to replace aka expensive labor. And I wonder if the dealers are charging standard labor for the job as before, when now the work is substantially simplified now that the lower pulley R&R is not needed. Good to ask about that too.
These pulleys like to fail in cold weather. You possibly might not get to the dealer when driving there. Have a cell phone and time to have a tow truck phone number on hand, or the dealer's if they will arrange for that. But tow truck companies are 24x7 and dealers are not!
51K is a bit early for this to happen, but the aging of the pully is a factor of years as well as miles. Many DIY folks get after these things before any signs of distress surface, as they really want to avoid tow trucks and dealer costs that can be unavoidable when things fail on the road.
