Compared to the Aero wheel and tire package...

The standard ARC package handles a little sloppy. Low tire mileage, if any, is a reflection on the tires selected. With something over 10,000 miles, my OE Michelins have/had 3/4 of their useful tread remaining. People are reporting faster wear with the Pirelli Pzero Rosso. I run 225-50-16 winter tires (same OD as the 225-45-17 with that extra half inch "crush space") and they ride/handle about mid-way between the 17" Aero package and 16" ARC package. The ride is softer with the 16", and would be softer still with the ARC package. There is no issue of compatibility with either the rims nor the suspension.
