I was originally looking to buy my 02' 9-5 Linear since I drive alot of miles and plan to keep it for ahwile, but with all the incentives, it was more cost effective to lease and then buy the car at lease end. I now have 70K miles and scheduled to return to car with less than 45K miles at the end of July. At that pace I'll be at about 84,000 at lease end (29K miles over). Buyback price is about $15,500. Can anyone provide advice as to 1) how to get the buyback price lower and/or, 2) how to return the car and lease/buy another Saab without having to pay the over mileage charge? When negotiating with Saab financial on buyback price, should I tell them the actual mileage or act like I'm within the allowed amount mileage. Thanks for you help. Sorry for the long post.
