Temp where I live has been going below zero regularly over the last couple of weeks. Finally at -9 F the other morning the car wouldn't turn over, so I replaced the OEM battery with a new Interstate. The Interstate, like most high end aftermarket batteries, has an 85 month warranty. Compared to that 42 months seems poor, but that's probably near the average for OEM batteries.
