heard of a control arm breaking at speed. It seems that the contorted suspension geometry of the C900 places considerable stress on the control arm at low speed while turning.
We all should contact NHTSA and voice concern. If Saab fails to take action, and someone is hurt, there will be a class action. As it stands, a class action for the defective control arms would cost Saab millions, whereas a class action including personal injuries would be astronomicaly expensive, both in monetary terms and in in terms of the good will Saab is attempting to build with new buyers.
