The best solution I found was to remove the ball joint at the hub, then remove the complete wishbone from the car, by undoing the six nuts on the 'chassis rail'. What I did was to grind flush the hex head and the exposed threaded end of the bolt. Then centre punch and drill out the remainder of the bolt from each end. You don't need to drill all the way through, just until the ball joint slides out of the wishbone.
This operation is a whole lot easier with the wishbone on the bench. Remember to grease the new bolts when you insert them. Persevere you'll get there in the end! Good luck, Peter
